Description
A Provençal estate that has been in the hands of the Portalis family since before the French Revolution. Today the estate is worked organically, and sheep graze between the vines for a large part of the year. Their reds are brooding Mourvedres but the rosé is a more balanced blend of Mourvedre and Cinsault. Fermented in concrete, the resulting wine is one of the richest rosés around that is dry with a full body and a rich floral nose.
