The 2019 Blagny La Pièce Sous La Bois 1er Cru is fragrant and comely on the nose, offering pure red cherries mixed with red currant and wild strawberry, all quite sensual and well delineated. The palate is very well balanced with a vivid red cherry and strawberry entry, fine depth and impressive mineralité, This has tension to spare on the spicy finish. An outstanding Blagny that should give up to 18-20 years of drinking pleasure.
