Jean-Robert Bellanger, head of the Adriatico brand, has reinvented the amaretto. Adriatico Amarettos are based on the Filippo Cea almond, a nutrient-rich aromatic variety from the Puglia region of Italy.
For the Adriatico Roasted Almonds Amaretto, the almonds are slowly roasted in the oven for hours, then macerated and then distilled.
