Description
Basically, one distinguishes between Izarra Vert, Izarra Jaune and Izarra 54.
Izarra was first produced in 1835 by Joseph Grattau. Grattau is also the founder of the distillery.
The liqueurs are stored in oak barrels and filtered again shortly before bottling.
The Izarra is also known under the name “the devil in a bottle” or as “green wave”.
Izarra Vert consists of 16 different plants and spices.
Comparable to the Izarra Jaune, the Izarra Vert is dry and strong in taste.
