Understated, but has a solid core of gently mulled red and black cherry fruit, laced with light tar and savory accents. Shows a late whiff of game, which imparts a slightly rustic edge, but this is nevertheless solid for the vintage. The better of two bottles tasted. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2030. 10,000 cases made, 100 cases imported.
