Description
94 points Wine Spectator
Reveals rich dark cherry and plum fruit with a lightly mulled edge, while anise, tar and black olive accents fill in throughout. Shows a mouthwatering savory edge on the finish. Approachable for the fruit, but a decade in the cellar won’t hurt. Best from 2023 through 2032. (JM)
93 points Decanter
Attractive high-toned spicy note really draws you in, partly from the oak, but also the place. Raspberries and loganberries spiked with Szechuan pepper. Voluminous but fresh in your mouth, this has marked acidity and sharply serrated tannins. Fresher and more defined than their 2018 Les Chaillés, this is well balanced, with tension and energy. Drinkable now, but will last. (MW)
