Aperol is a brand of the Campari Group. It is a distillate of rhubarb, cinchona bark, yellow gentian, bitter orange and aromatic herbs. The liqueur first appeared on the market in Padua in 1919 and was developed by the brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri.
