Description
Whisky has been unofficially distilled at the Ardbeg distillery since 1794, until it was acquired by John McDougall in 1815 and officially opened under the name Ardbeg. The name “Ardbeg”, which comes from the Gaelic, means “little hill”. The distillery is located on the picturesque south coast of the famous whisky region of Islay.
The Ardbeg SMOKETRAILS The Cote Rotie Edition was matured in exclusive Cote Rotie red wine casks and then finished in traditional bourbon casks, giving it a unique flavor profile.
