Description
The Argiano winery was founded in the 16th century and comprises 51 hectares of vineyards. The winery became famous for its highly acclaimed Brunello Montalcino. Today, they can boast an even larger and, above all, highly award-winning range.
Argiano Solengo Rosso Toscano is an exclusive cuvee made from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese grape varieties, which thrive on mineral-rich clay soil. Each grape variety is gently fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 12 to 16 days in order to preserve their individual aromas and characteristics in the best possible way. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, which refines its structure and emphasizes its creaminess. The Solengo then matures for 15 to 17 months in new French barriques. After ageing, the wine is carefully bottled and sealed with a natural cork to ensure its longevity.
With a storage potential until 2033, Argiano Solengo is an exceptional red wine that combines powerful fruit aromas, fine tannins and harmonious elegance.
