Martin Juric, owner of Aura Delicatessen, became aware of the Aura company in central Istria during a vacation in Croatia in 2014. He was immediately impressed by the wide variety of fine spirits, the hospitality and the exquisite products of this distillery. This gave rise to the idea of dealing with imports.
Aura Delicatessen is a stable family business that has a total of 15 producers under contract and imports over 200 different products.
Aura Limoncello is a liquor made from ripe organic lemons from Croatia. The lemons are first washed and the outermost peel is peeled. Then the lemon peels are soaked in 95% alcohol for 3-4 weeks and mixed with sugar and heated water. After a week, the brandy can then be filtered and enjoyed.
