Barrell Batch #36 Bourbon clearance sale

Description

Barrell’s incredible batched releases return (with a snazzy new label) with batch 36, which features a blend of 9 year old Kentucky bourbon with 7.5, 8, and 10 year old Indiana bourbon and 8 and 15 year old Tennessee bourbon.  The derived mash bill of the blend is 79% corn, 16% rye, and 5% malted barley, and the whiskey is bottled without chill filtration at a barrel proof of 114.44.  Batch 36’s nose offers scents of apricot, tangerine, and black cherry with undertones of cinnamon and allspice.  The palate begins with rich caramel before fruity flavors of apricot, citrus, and cherry wash over the tongue.  It finishes with baking spices, caramel, and brown sugar, with rich sweetness inviting the next sip.
