Description
The winery Bodegas Beronia was founded in 1973 and is picturesquely located at the gates of Ollauri, just a few kilometers southeast of Haro, the capital of Rioja Alta, Spain. The grapes used to produce these premium wines come from the winery’s own ten hectares of vineyards, lined with vines over 50 years old, surrounding the winery. In addition, Bodegas Beronia sources grapes from carefully selected growers who have a total of about 550 hectares of vineyards in the surrounding municipalities of the Rioja region. The soils are characterized by clay and limestone, and the microclimate in the area is particularly favorable, creating ideal conditions for growing grapes of the highest quality.
