Description
The history of Bodega Norton began with three entrepreneurs who, despite many challenges, realized their dreams and turned Norton into one of Argentina’s leading wineries. With the support of a renowned winemaking team, they achieved significant milestones in Argentinean winemaking history. Bodega Norton’s five vineyards are located in Lujan de Cuyo, in the best terroirs of the province of Mendoza at the foothills of the Andes. This privileged area, known as the First Zone, is famous for the outstanding quality of its grapes. Another quality feature is the great age of the vines, which are on average 30 years old, with many being over 80 years old. These old vines give the wines depth and complexity.
Bodega Norton Privada Family Cask is an exquisite cuvee of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vines grow on gravelly soils with a sandy surface, which offer ideal conditions for viticulture. The wine matures in a combination of French and American oak barrels. After ageing, the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork, with storage potential until 2033.
