Description

Broken Hops is a new side project from the minds at Prost Brewing which takes the brewing prowess which Prost is known for and applies it to the IPA styles. This beer pours an opaque, pale orange-yellow color with a large, dense and foamy, off-white head. The nose is fruity up front with aromas of orange and pineapple, followed by lightly grassy hops and grainy malts. The body sits at a medium weight with a light level carbonation and a slightly dry finish for the style. On the palate you get more of an orange rind note up front, followed by slightly bitter and grassy hops on the mid-palate. Grainy malts and hints of honey round out the finish before dropping off slightly bitter and dry on the tail end. Review by Dan Chacon
