Description
If you are unfamiliar with Bruz Beers, they are a local brewery that specializes in Belgian and other European style beers. And they brew them pretty well. This dark lager pours a brownish black color with a large, foamy, tan head that dissipates somewhat quickly. On the nose you get aromas of dark, slightly bitter chocolate, roasted malts, light coffee and lager yeast. The body is medium light with a medium level carbonation and a slightly dry finish. The palate mirrors the nose exactly and the beer finishes fairly crisp and bitter while light bready and roasted malts carry through the tail end. This is a great example of the style and a good, dark beer for the cold weather that isn’t too heavy at the same time. Review by Dan Chacon

This lightly roasted, easy-drinking dark lager showcases light chocolate and coffee notes before adding a slight metallic twinge to the glass. Aromas of dried candied fruit round out the finish.
