Description
The Burning Barn Ltd. distillery, based in England, came to rum production through a terrible disaster. As the name of their articles already tells, their barn burned down. The fire taught the people there to never give up and so they started the production of various rums.
The finest molasses-rich column rums and pot still rums are blended from the Diamond Distillery, which is located just outside Guyana’s capital Georgetown. The rums then mature in the Caribbean heat for two to three years in American oak barrels, which were first filled with bourbon whisky.
The Burning Barn Spiced Rum is roasted in three-metre-wide, heavy copper pans traditionally used for making toffee.
