Description
Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur follows the original recipe from 1821, and requires four years to produce. This unique liqueur is a distillation of the leaves, pits, stems, and skins of the Luxardo Marasca Cherries, a sour cherry variety cultivated exclusively by the Luxardo family in the Veneto region of Italy. Each patented, straw-plaited bottle is hand-wrapped, a Venetian method originally used for transporting bottles during sea travel to avoid breakage. Smooth but sharp, this liqueur has a rounded flavor with notes of cherries and rosewater. It is an essential ingredient for classic cocktails such as the Aviation, The Last Word, and the Martinez
