Description
Since it was founded in 1939 by Domenico Dal Cero, the Ca dei Frati winery has remained a byword for family winemaking. With an annual production of around 400,000 bottles, of which only 30% are destined for export, the winery has secured an exclusive position on the global market.
The Ca dei Frati Brolettino Lugana is a white wine characterized by the exclusive use of Trebbiano grapes, which thrive on fertile, calcareous clay soil. The careful harvest of these grapes takes place in mid-October to ensure that only optimally ripe fruit is processed.
The wine is matured for 10 months in barriques, followed by an additional three months of maturation in the bottle. With a storage potential of up to four years, Brolettino Lugana offers the opportunity to observe its aroma develop over time. It is sealed with a natural cork.
