Description

Since it was founded in 1939 by Domenico Dal Cero, the Ca dei Frati winery has remained a byword for family winemaking. With an annual production of around 400,000 bottles, of which only 30% are destined for export, the winery has secured an exclusive position on the global market.

The Ca dei Frati Pietro Dal Cero Amarone Della Valpolicella DOC is the result of the creative passion and commitment of the siblings Igino, Gian Franco and Anna Maria Dal Cero. This remarkable wine is made from a carefully selected blend of the Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and Croatina grape varieties.

It is matured using a three-stage method: first, the wine spends 24 months in wooden barrels to develop depth and character, followed by 12 months in stainless steel tanks. A final 24 months of bottle ageing perfects its complexity and structure.

With a cellaring potential of 10 to 15 years, this wine is a testament to its ability to grow and refine with time. Each bottle is sealed with a natural cork.
