The Carlos Serres Metodo Tradicional Rioja Brut DOC is an elegant sparkling wine from the renowned Rioja wine region, produced using the traditional bottle fermentation method. This special cuvee combines the best white grape varieties from the region with careful vinification according to the Methode Traditionnelle, which is also used for champagne. This means that the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, giving the sparkling wine a fine, long-lasting perlage and exceptional complexity.
The vineyards for this Rioja Brut are located in Haro, in the heart of Rioja Alta, where chalky soils and a temperate climate provide ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes. The first fermentation is followed by a long maturation on the lees, which gives the sparkling wine an impressive fullness and elegant freshness. The result is a complex, fine-sparkling and well-balanced brut with a perfect balance between fruit, acidity and minerality.
