Description
The nose is fragrant, fresh with pleasant hints of red fruit, licorice, black currant and a hint of vanilla. Dominated by the typical notes of Sangiovese chiantigiano. Expresses a pleasant sweetness on the palate, it is round, soft and fruity. A very versatile wine, ideally paired with structured main dishes. It also goes well with stewed dishes and medium-aged cheeses.

The 2022 Chianti Classico is a fine introduction to the Castellare range. Silky, aromatic and light on its feet, this is a wine of tremendous appeal. The 2022 is on the fruitier side, but its balance is impeccable. Hints of spice, leather and citrus linger on the mid-weight finish.
