Sweet dried cherry, crushed flowers, cinnamon and a hint of orange peel are the signatures of a wine that is already starting to show a good deal of aromatic complexity. Even so, there is still a good bit of acidity keeping the flavors vibrant. Soft contours add to the wine’s considerable appeal. It is not the last word in complexity, but it is fruity, supple and very delicious. I would prefer to drink it sooner rather than later.”
