Castello Conti Spanna Colline Novaresi Red Italian Piedmontese Wine 750 mL

Description

Pure Nebbiolo (local name is “Spanna”) from Ghemme  in the northern part of Piedmonte. The wines remind you of a rustic barolo, aging is min 20 months in wood and 9 months min in bottle for minimum of 3 years before release. It is a dry masculine wine with  a seductive palate and some intriguing gamey notes. Tiny production only 1,500 bottles are made each year.
