Description
A bright ruby red in color, this Chianti Classico shows well-integrated aromas of flowers, red cherries and fresh fruit in general. On the palate, is soft and fresh with a good acidity and a good level of tannins, that makes it a very versatile food wine. Pair this wine with lasagna, ragù sauces, roasted lamb, or braised veal shank.

The 2020 Chianti Classico is a very pretty wine. Crushed flowers, spice, mint, rose petal, cedar and white pepper give this mid-weight Chianti Classico lovely aromatic presence. Bright acids and vibrant red-toned fruit lend notable energy throughout.

The nose is a mixed berry salad, with vanilla playing up the berries’ sweetness, and a streak of cedar providing a woody balance. On the palate, strawberries stand out but are joined by sour cherries and earthy, astringent undertones of soil and herbs.

The organic 2020 Chianti Classico draws its fruit from a seven-hectare site, and 50,000 bottles are produced. This wine is very bright and fruit-forward with cherry, smoke, tar and licorice. It offers generous volume and richness, putting it in the category of medium-bodied Sangiovese wines.
