Description
White and sweet, it is the par excellence dessert wine. It is pale yellow in color, the intensity of which varies according to the year, intensely fruity, aromatic and lingering. The sweetness is in balance with the low alcohol (5%) and acidity, never too high, but that gives the product a pleasant freshness. It is vinified exclusively in steel tanks. The Ceretto 2023 Moscato d’Asti I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano has a pretty nose that touches on all the typical varietal characteristics. The palate feels solely focused on easy sweetness with candied lychee fruit, canned peach or fruit cocktail with one halved maraschino cherry still kicking around somewhere inside the can.
