This release offers an exploration into the influence of French Oak. Most Tequila that makes its way to the US is aged in white oak ex-bourbon barrels known for imparting notes of coconut and vanilla, this unique expression from Corazon was rested in French Oak barrels. French Oak brings subtly elegant flavors of dried fruit and baking spices and certainly comes through in this bottling. Agave and dried fruit are at the forefront of aromas, while delicate spice from the French Oak accents the dark cocoa in the finish.
