Description
“This imperial sour was conditioned on raspberries and vanilla in oak barrels. It pours an extremely cloudy, “strawberry” red color with a small, fizzy, off-white head. On the nose you get aromas of sweet, yet tart, raspberries, a lemony citrus character, and a light wild yeast funkiness. The body sits at a medium-light level with a bright, medium level carbonation that pops. On the palate you get light oak and sweet raspberries up front, followed by citrus, grainy malts, and hints of vanilla mid-palate. The lemony citrus character follows into the finish where it meets with a very light, wild yeast funk.” Review by Dan Chacon
