Description
Since the 19th century, the DARTIGALONGUE family has marketed vintage Armagnacs.
The Vintage corresponds to the year of the harvest.
Armagnac is made from a variety of grapes, with the most common being Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard, and Dartigalongue’s Armagnacs are typically aged in oak barrels, which impart rich flavors and complexity over time. Unlike Cognac, which is distilled twice, Armagnac is distilled just once in a continuous still, which helps preserve the fruit’s character and gives Armagnac its signature depth and complexity.
