The Dictador JERARQUIA 35 Years Old BORBON Rum 1985 is a rare and exceptionally aged premium rum from Colombia, bottled at 46% ABV in a fine 0.7-liter bottle. This exclusive bottling comes from the prestigious Jerarquia Collection, a unique collection of old single casks carefully preserved for decades by the Parra family, the recognized masters of Colombian rum.
The Jerarquia series includes casks from a now-defunct distillery that rested in Dictador’s cellars for years. Each of these casks has developed its own distinctive flavor profile. The 1985 bottling was aged for 35 years in American bourbon casks, revealing intense aromas of wood, vanilla, dried fruits, and fine spices. The result is a deep, elegant rum with exceptional structure and high collectible value.
The term “Jerarquia” means “hierarchy” in Spanish and symbolizes the patience, nobility, and high quality of these limited cask bottlings, which were also allowed to mature to perfection in sherry, port, or, as here, bourbon casks.
