Description

In 1975, Gerard Bertrand began his grape harvest at Chateau de Villemajou in the Corbieres, where he discovered his passion for wine. Over the course of twelve years, he honed his skills alongside his father Georges Bertrand until the fourth generation finally carried on the legacy. After the tragic death of his father in 1987, Gerard Bertrand took over the family management of the Domaine de Villemajou and founded the Gerard Bertrand wine company. The Gerard Bertrand Group comprises 16 wine estates and 16 chateaux along the Mediterranean coast of France, covering a total of 850 hectares. Some of the grapes are harvested by hand and matured in 225-liter Bordeaux barrels, while the rest is stored in stainless steel tanks.

Gerard Bertrand Art de Vivre Rose is a tribute to nature, as it is made from Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grape varieties and bottled in unique bottles made from natural soil. The fully ripe grapes are harvested at night to avoid oxidation, while each grape variety used is vinified individually at temperatures between 16-18°C to ensure optimal aromas. After ageing, the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
