This is a Barbera (which often plays second fiddle in the Piedmont) from one of the regions greatest producers. The Barbera has great fruit but lighter tannins than their Nebbiolos, but given its pedigree it still has a definite heft. We think this is a true value wine to taste one of the greats. And it’s in a magnum!
