Description
The Giacosa Fratelli winery has been run by the Giacosa family for over 100 years in beautiful Piedmont, Italy. In the 90s Maurizio and Paolo took over the winery, which produces one of the finest wines of the Langhe. Currently, 50 hectares of vines are cultivated. Naturalness as well as quality, the guiding principles of the family business, are paramount.
Barolo Bussia comes from the vineyards of the Bussia area in Monforte d’Alba. The excellent interaction of the clayey as well as calcareous soil results in unique aromas of the grapes. The fully ripe grapes are selected by hand and fermented spontaneously. This is followed by aging for three years in wooden barrels.
