Description
The whisky makers of Glenmorangie, also known as the “Distillers of Tain”, use five key ingredients – wood, water, barley, yeast and time – as well as their many years of experience to produce high-quality single malt whiskies.
For more than 175 years, they have been producing a delicate and fruity whisky in the highest stills in Scotland. Under the leadership of Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Creation, the team works on new flavors and innovations in the world of single malt whisky.
Dr. Bill drew inspiration for the creation of this whisky from his numerous visits to Tokyo. He experimented for the first time with rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks, which produced unusual flavors.
The packaging features an illustration by Japanese artist Yamaguchi Akira, depicting Tokyo’s history and culture in a playful way.
Overall, the result is an interesting combination of flavors that will appeal to malt whisky lovers.
