The Cava de Oro brand stands for high-quality 100% agave tequila, which comes from the Tequilera Puerta de Hierro. This distillery, located in El Arenal Jalisco, Mexico, produces handcrafted tequilas. The blue agaves are carefully harvested to ensure the best quality. Four varieties are then distilled: Plata, Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo.
The Cava de Oro Rosa tequila is characterized by its unique “Wine Cask Aged” process, in which it matures for two months in French white oak barrels. These barrels previously contained red wine, which gives the tequila a special, fruity note. The combination of agave aroma and subtle wine tones creates an unmistakable taste experience.
This special ageing process not only gives the tequila its characteristic pink color, but also a unique complexity that sets it apart from other tequilas.
