Description
The winery Hans Igler is located south of Lake Neusiedl in the sunniest part of Austria. The vineyards of the Igler family cover 40 hectares. Due to the mild Pannonian climate and the loamy and sandy gravel soils, the conditions for high-quality viticulture are given.
The fermentation of the Vulcano took place in closed steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 28 and 30 °C. This was followed by a 14-day maceration period, malolactic fermentation and aging in barrique for a total of 15 months.
