Description
The Heinrich winery in Deutschkreutz has been under the dedicated management of Silvia Heinrich since 2010, who is passionate about continuing the region’s wine tradition. With 38 hectares of vineyards, the focus is clearly on the royal grape variety Blaufraenkisch, which accounts for 70% of the vineyard area. The grapes come from first-class vineyards such as Goldberg, Hochberg, Siglos and Fabian, which are known for their outstanding quality. The estate’s wines enjoy international popularity and are exported to numerous countries, including Belgium, China, Germany, the USA and many other markets.
Heinrich Ried Siglos is a carefully composed cuvee of Zweigelt and Blaufraenkisch, the grapes of which come from almost 60-year-old vines in the renowned Siglos vineyard. After vinification, the wine matures in small oak barrels, allowing it to develop its characteristic structure and finesse. The wine is then bottled with a screw cap.
The Ried Siglos has a maturation potential of 4 to 6 years and promises enjoyment at a high level.
