Description
Between orchards and vineyards is the veteran distillery of Hoedl Hof.
The quality of the brandies is ensured by a 300-liter rough-fired boiler and a 200-liter fine-fired boiler made of pure copper.
The fruit grown on the farm is transported by the shortest route to the fermentation cellar, where it is gently fermented under temperature control. For generations, double distillation has been carried out according to old Styrian tradition.
Only the high-proof heart of it is taken and then matured in wood, glass or stainless steel.
In order for the rowan berries to acquire their wonderful character of fruit and marzipan, they must first reach full maturity and survive the first frost.
The rowan berries used come from Hoedl Hof’s own orchards.
