Il Palagio, an iconic winery in Tuscany, combines tradition, innovation and passion to create exceptional wines of the highest quality. The historic estate, whose roots date back to the 16th century, has experienced a glorious renaissance under its current owners, the world-famous musician Sting and his wife Trudie Styler.
Il Palagio La Duchessa Chianti Riserva is an impressive red wine that carries the essence and authenticity of the Tuscan wine tradition. It is made exclusively from hand-picked Sangiovese grapes that ripen under optimal conditions in the sun-drenched vineyards of the Il Palagio estate. The vines thrive on clay and limestone soils, which give the wine its unmistakable structure, complexity and minerality. After gentle vinification, La Duchessa matures in selected oak barrels.
