Description

The nose of blackberry & blackcurrant with a hint of blackberry leaf, notes of cedar and vanilla. On the palate, ripe dark berry fruit including cassis with fine tannins and great length. Pairs well with roasted red meats, char grilled lamb cutlets or mature hard cheeses.

This is a straightforward Cab with red and black fruit, mint and tobacco-leaf aromas, underpinned with chocolatey oak characters. It’s full bodied with spicy tannins and lifted acidity. There’s a slight bitterness to the finish.

Minty and herbal on the nose, the 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon backs those notes with cassis fruit and subtle hints of vanilla and cedar. It’s a plump, medium-bodied Cab that offers clear varietal flavors, enough structure to partner with fatty steaks and burgers, and a reasonably long, focused finish. It’s a terrific value.
