Over a drink, the Master Distiller of Jameson Distillery and the Brewmaster of Franciscan Wells Brewery decided that the brewery would use Jameson barrels to make the beer.

In return, the Jameson Distillery got them back after completion and created this unique whiskey.

Jameson meets Franciscan Wells – The Jameson Caskmates Irish Whiskey was created by maturing Jameson Irish Whiskey in strong beer casks of the Franciscan Wells Brewery.
