Confiscated will be the lowest ABV bottling from the brand to date, clocking in at 94.6 proof. They state drinkers will enjoy “notes of oak, caramel, mesquite banana bread and dark chocolate.”
They note that the nose has hints of aged oak mingled with light caramel and leather. Delicate and understated, it’s interesting, and signals towards the whiskey being aged longer than I would have expected.
The palate is “complex with soft woodiness, sweetness of a banana pudding vanilla wafer” and that we can expect “a pleasant spicy citrus finish.”Kentucky Owl has announced the release of Confiscated Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the brand’s first bottle to be sold in all 50 states.
