Kilbeggan Distillery was founded in 1757 and is the oldest licensed distillery in Ireland.
The name Kilbeggan is derived from the canonized monk St. Becan, one of the 12 apostles of Ireland.
The Kilbeggan Triple Cask is the successor to the Kilbeggan Single Grain. The whiskey is made exclusively from high quality grains and is a sweet spirit that absorbs the flavors of the casks in which it matures. The Kilbeggan Triple Cask matures in American Virgin Oak, Pedro Ximenez Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks.
