Description
Weinhof Knoebl is located in Dienersdorf near Kaindorf, in Eastern Styria, surrounded by vineyards and a wine tavern, which offers visitors the opportunity to taste wines and juices on site. The farm is run by Fritz Knoebl, a master winemaker who has completed his Silberberg training. He took over responsibility for wine production at the age of 17 after his parents, the founders of the business, placed their trust in him. In 2012, he officially took over the management of the winery. Today, various Styrian wine varieties are grown on an area of around 5 hectares, supplemented by around 2 hectares of apple and apricot orchards.
Knoebl Weisser Burgunder is made from a careful selection of 100% fully ripe Pinot Blanc grapes. After its maturation phase, the wine is bottled and securely sealed with a screw cap.
As an internationally recognized grape variety, Pinot Blanc impresses with its elegant, sometimes subtle bouquet and mature acidity. In cultivation, this variety requires particularly high-quality soil conditions and carefully selected sites.
