Description
The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. The family business, which is managed by Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese and ice wines. The vineyards are planted with Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and Zweigelt grapes. Thanks to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first-class.
The Kracher Beerenauslese Cuvee is made from Welschriesling and Chardonnay grapes, which thrive on gravel and sandy soils. The wine matures 80% in steel tanks and 20% in large wooden barrels and is aged for 16 months. With its ageing potential until 2036, this cuvee can develop its aromas in the best possible way.
