Description

Bodega Iturria was created in 2009 by Xavier Iturria. He previously worked for bodegas in Ribera del Duero, Rioja and Toro. The vines are located in Toro and Morales de Toro, at 700 meters altitude. The wine is aged 6 to 8 months in French barrels and production is around only 8,000 bottles. 100% Tinta de Toro, Organic and Biodynamic, no pesticides! 100% Tempranillo. Organically Certified.

“Ink and blackberry aromas develop nicely across the palate, together with a graphite undertone. It’s chewy and structured with a flavorful finish. A little tight at the end. Give it time to open. 100% tinta de toro. From organically grown grapes. Try after 2023.”
