Description
Weinhof Leitner is a traditional family business run by Helmut Leitner and his son Matthias. The vineyards cover 16 hectares in the picturesque Ilztal valley in the south-eastern Styrian hill country. This area benefits from a Pannonian climate, which is characterized by Mediterranean influences, and offers ideal conditions for the production of high-quality wines.
The Leitner Gelber Muskateller grapes thrive on lime-free cultivated cane soil and are harvested in mid to late September. The classic ageing process is carried out quickly in steel tanks to preserve the fresh aromas. After ageing, the sparkling wine is bottled and sealed with a screw cap. The Gelber Muskateller has a storage potential of up to 3 years, during which it develops its aromas perfectly.
