Description
The Langmann winery is located in picturesque western Styria at the foot of the Koralpe and is run by Stefan Langmann, his brother Guenther and Stefan senior. For over 250 years, the family has been passionately dedicated to the Blauer Wildbacher, the grape variety behind the famous Styrian specialty Schilcher. The Langmann family’s vineyards are among the steepest and most barren in all of Austria. On the high, dizzyingly steep slopes, the cool Alpine winds and clear mountain air shape the character of the vines.
The high altitudes and cool climate of Western Styria give Lex Langmann Schilcher Klassik its unmistakable freshness and aroma. This spirited Schilcher impresses with intense notes of redcurrants and fully ripe strawberries, which characterize its lively taste profile.
