Description
For the Loch Lomond Spearhead, the Coffey still process is used exclusively. This is a continuous distillation process in which new mash is added again and again. In the still, the malted barley is fermented for 92 hours and then distilled. This process guarantees the quality of the whiskey.
It is aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then it is refined for 6 months in traditional and infrared toasted barrels. The barrels are made of American oak.
