Description
The Francoli family distillery in Ghemme, Italy, has been in existence since 1875 and is one of the largest and most famous distilleries in Piedmont. It was the first grappa distillery that had no impact on the environment and ensures a neutral CO2 balance. The heat for the distillation process, for example, is obtained from vegetable fuels. The company has also participated in the project “Impatto Zero”, they have achieved a protected area of 340,000 square meters in Costa Rica’s forests.
The grappa is distilled from the grape variety Moscato e Brachetto and then stored for six months in stainless steel tanks.
