Description
Lussa Gin is produced on the island of Jura off the west coast of Scotland. Three ladies, Claire Fletscher, Georgina Kitchin and Alicia MacInnes, are responsible for the production of this unique gin.
All 15 botanicals used in the production of Lussa Gin are harvested by the 3 producers directly on the island or on surrounding coasts. In addition to common botanicals like juniper, lemon blossom or mint, even the seaweed Ulva, which is also known as sea lettuce, is used. Each bottle is handcrafted using a traditional still.
Botanicals: Lemon thyme leaves, coriander, rose petals, lemon balm leaves, lime blossom, elderberry, honeysuckle, bog, orris root, juniper, water mint, Ulva, Scots pine, ground elderberry leaves, wild rose.
